Summer 2013: Listed as the 24th top prospect from the Cape Cod League by Baseball America and 32nd bt PerfectGame.org ... Was 2-0 with 2.82 ERA in nine starts in the 2013 Cape Cod Summer League (36.0 IP, 44 Ks) ... 37 Cape Cod regular-season strikeouts ranked 5th (tied) in the league ... Was 0-0 in 2 playoff starts in the Cape with a 1.22 ERA, 9 Ks in 7.1 innings.

2013 (So): Named first team All-Big South ... In the NCAA stats, ranked 39th in games started (16), 86th in ERA (2.23), 87th in fewest hits allowed per nine innings (7.09) and 110th in strikeouts (83) ... Ranked fourth in the Big South with 83 strikeouts (92.2 innings), fifth in ERA (2.23) and sixth in opponent batting average (.219) ... Finished the season 5-4 with 2.23 ERA, striking out 83 with 53 walks ... In league play, was 2-1 in eight starts with 2.36 ERA, 45 strikeouts in 49.2 innings and .176 opponent batting average which was second-best in the conference ... Did not receive great offensive support as he did not figure in the decision in five games which he allowed only one earned run and he allowed one or zero earned runs in nine of his 16 starts ... Most notably, he pitched 7.1 innings of one-hit, one-run baseball with a career-high 12 strikeouts versus Gardner-Webb, but he would not get the win ... In those 14 relief appearances, he allowed 19 hits and eight runs (seven earned) with 13 walks and 35 strikeouts ... Earned his first collegiate win, pitching 4.2 scoreless innings in relief against The Citadel ... Entered the championship game with runners on first and second and one out ... He got a fly out and, after running the count full, got a strikeout swinging to end the contest ... At the NCAA Columbia Regional versus Clemson (6/3), started and pitched 4.1 innings, allowing six hits and four runs with two walks and five strikeouts ... Named to the 2011-12 Big South Presidential Honor Roll for posting at least a 3.0 GPA for the academic year.
