2016 (So.): Was Coastal’s starting second baseman for the season, but missed the College World Series after suffering a knee injury (PCL) in game one win at LSU in the Super Regional … In that LSU win, Lancaster was 4-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored, an RBI and a walk … For the season, batted .326 with 11 doubles, seven home runs, 35 RBI, 44 runs scored, 40 walks, 12 sac bunts and 15 stolen bases … Despite batting in bottom third of the line-up, ranked fifth in the Big South (third on the team) with 40 walks for the year ... Ranked third in Big South and 39th in the NCAA with 12 sac bunts ... Ranked fourth in the league and 88th in the NCAA with .457 on-base percentage … Was CCU’s top hitter in the postseason (.444 with tam-best .741 slugging pct.) prior to his injury … Voted to the Big South Championship All-Tournament Team, batting .364 with a home run and standing out defensively, and voted to the NCAA Raleigh All-Regional Team, batting .333 and drove in the game-winning run with a two-out, two-run single in the ninth to secure CCU’s regional title at North Carolina State … Starting with Liberty series and spanning his last 19 games, was batting a team –best .444 (28-for-63) with 18 runs and 19 RBI ... Also had a team-best .732 slugging percentage (8 doubles and 4 home runs) and team-best .496 on-base percentage while going 6-of-6 on stolen bases … When leading off an inning, reached base 49.2 percent of the time ... Had 19, 2-out RBI (third-best on the team) and is batted .333 with two outs …. Drew a walk that spanned two days at Georgia Tech ... Count was 3-1 when game was halted on Saturday due to lightning and game would ultimately resume Sunday ... He took a strike then a ball to force home a run …. After a 1-for-27 dry spell, season-ending burst started by going 5-for-12 with a monster home run and five RBI in the Liberty series … Had a good opening weekend as he walked and scored in the opener (Appalachian State), was 2-for-5 versus NC State and went 1-for-2 in the win versus Virginia … Was a lone bright spot in Cincinnati and Wake Forest losses ... Was1-for-1 with three walks versus Cincy and was 2-for-3 with a walk versus Wake … In the Wake Forest win, was 1-for-2 with an RBI, two walks, two stolen bases and three runs scored ... In the seventh, stole a base and scored on a Matt Beaird single, which gave CCU a 7-2 lead at the time in the eventual 7-6 win … Was 0-for-2 in the win at UNC Wilmington(Mar. 16 ), but laid down two sac bunts and the runner he moved scored both times, including the game-winner in the sixth inning … Became the second Chanticleer to clear the 20-foot batter’s eye center field with a home run versus Gardner-Webb (April 2) … Best career weekend came at Radford ... Was 6-for-11 with five runs scored and three RBI while drawing three walks and stealing two bases … Was 5-for-8 in the Charleston Southern series with a home run … Even though teammate Connor Owings was Big South Player of the Week for the Campbell series, Lancaster may have been CCU’s Most Valuable Player ... Was 7-for-12 with nine RBI and five runs scored ... Was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI walk and two stolen bases in opener ... In game two was 2-for-4 with two doubles ... Hit a double to start the bottom of the ninth, took third on a Beaird sac bunt and scored the game winner on the play as the throw was errant ... Was 4-for-5 with six RBI in the finale ... In the fourth inning alone, had a five RBI as he hit a 3-run HR and two-run single …. At the Big South Championship: Drew two walks in the opener versus Radford and laid down a sac bunt that led to the game-winner in the eighth ... Against Gardner-Webb, hit a pair of doubles, including a critical one in the eighth as he would score what proved to be the game-winner (CCU went up 4-2, but won 4-3) ... Also made a big defensive play ... In the top of the eighth with two one and no outs, he dropped a soft liner, but picked up the ball and started a 4-5-6 double play ... Versus Longwood, was 2-for-4 ... Hit an RBI single and hit a leadoff home off the top of the scoreboard … At the NCAA Regional, batted .333 … Against Saint Mary’s, was hit by a pitch to start the third and later scored CCU’s first run ... Later, laid down a squeeze bunt to drive in Young for a 3-1 lead in the fourth to bring home what proved to be the game-winning run ... In the second-round win over NC State, was 2-for-4 with a double … In the “if necessary” game versus NC State, was 2-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored and two walks ... Singled and scored in the fourth to give CCU a 3-1 lead ... Delivered the game-winning hit with bases loaded and two outs in the ninth with a two-run single, putting CCU up 6-5.
2015 (Fr.): Played in 32 games and started the final 16 contest at second base … Since taking over as the second baseman, batted .238 (10-for-42) but only made one error in 68 chances ... Had six assists in the win in the Florida State finale and seven in game two at Campbell … Had reached base streak (hit/walk/hit by pitch) of 10 games before going 0-for-1 as a late-game defensive replacement in game two of the Big South Tournament ... Came up huge in the Big south semifinal as he delivered a key two-run double … Reached base safely in 12 of his last 15 games (in two of the games he did not reach, he was 0-for-1 as a late-inning defensive replacement) … Only had six hits in his first 22 games then exploded for three hits (3-for-3) and three RBI in the rain-shortened Liberty finale … Was a game-time replacement for Michael Paez at shortstop in the Clemson win ... Was 0-for-4, but scored a run and was solid in the infield … Entered the UNCA opener as a pinch hitter and delivered his first career home run, a solo shot … came off the bench to go 1-for-1 with a run scored and two RBI versus Winthrop (Mar. 27) … Was outstanding in the field at Florida State, especially game three where he had six assists ... Had a hit each of the first two games at Florida State ... In the win in game three, laid down a sac bunt, which eventually led to a 1-0 lead, and later scored on a safety squeeze to give CCU a 2-0 lead … Summer 2015: Named to the Valley Baseball League All-Star team as a shortstop ... Posted a .294 batting average, second-best on the team ... Led his team in runs scored, hits, doubles, triples, and RBI ... Ranked third in the league in walks (23), 10th with 10 doubles and 16th with 23 RBI.
Prior to Coastal Carolina: Listed 11th on the HSSR.com top 20 players in South Carolina ... Named All-Lowcountry ... Selected to play in the 2A/3A South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association (SCBCA) All-Star game ... Perfect Game.com Preseason second team All-Atlantic Region ... As a junior, batted .345 with 28 RBI and 25 runs scored ... As a sophomore, posted a .358 batting average with 17 RBIs in helping to lead the Hawks into the Class AA state championship series, falling to Gilbert HS ... Batted .292 as a freshman.
