Earned Dean’s List recognition for Spring 2015 and was named to the 2014-15 Big South Presidential Honor Roll for posting at least a 3.0 GPA for the academic year.

2016: (So.): Played in 22 games and batted .231 … However, posted a .500 on-base percentage thanks to six walks and a hit by pitch … Three of his six walks came as a pinch hitter … Was a 1-for-2 in the season opener versus Appalachian State and 1-for-1 in the Wake Forest loss … Came in as pinch hitter in the 10th inning versus Ohio State (2/29), drew a walk to load the bases and set the stage for Anthony Marks’ game-winning hit … Was 1-for-1 with two RBI in the Gardner-Webb opener … In the Radford opener, scored as a pinch hitter and later walked.

2015 (Fr.): Played in 45 of the 60 games, mostly as a late-inning defensive replacement, with 13 starts, including two in the Big South Tournament and all three CCU games at the NCAA College Station Regional … Only batted .211, but drew 12 walks to give him an impressive .357 on base percentage … Scored 13 runs in just 57 at bats and drove in 10 … Made ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 for his diving catch versus California in the NCAA Regional … In the Big South Tournament, batted .444 (4-for-9), including a season-best 2-for-4 game with two RBI in the semifinal … Had a key RBI single in the second inning to spark CCU’s offense … Came in as a late-inning defensive replacement versus #7 South Carolina ... Made a nice play in the outfield and drew a five-pitch, leadoff walk in the top of the 11th before eventually scoring the game-winning run … Had two, four-game hit streaks, getting three RBI during each streak … Came off the bench in the second game at UNC Asheville and hit a three-run home run, his first collegiate round-tripper.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Selected to be in the USA Baseball’s under-18 National Team pool and played in the 1A-4A South Carolina North-South All-Star game … Named first team All-State (SCBSA and USATodayhss.com) … Listed 17th on the HSSR.com top 20 players in South Carolina … Also tabbed All-Charlotte Observer, all-area and all-region after hitting .389 with 36 RBI, 11 doubles, and scored 33 runs … Posted a .600 slugging percentage, .609 on-base percentage and struck out just six times in 110 plate appearances … Led Northwestern 4A state championship series … Prior to his senior season, named second team All-Atlantic Region by PerfectGame.com … As a junior, named all-area, batting .405 with 34 RBI.
