Prior to Coastal Carolina: Named to the Under Armour Preseason All-America team in 2008 and 2009 ... Was named to the Baseball Clearinghouse.net All-National Team in 2009 ... Was a four-year starting catcher ... Had a .380 high school batting average with 26 doubles, four triples and 13 home runs as a senior ... Was a two-time team captain and team MVP ... Helped William Penn Charter to a 2009 Inter-AC championship and a ranking of 25th nationally by Perfect Game in 2009 ... Was a three-time all-conference and All-Philadelphia selection ... Also was a three-time member of the Carpenter Cup team ... Played legion baseball for Yardley Western ... Was a three-time All-Pennsylvania East-West American Legion All-Star and a four-time Region 3 and Lower Bucks American Legion All-Star ... Graduated with honors from William Penn Charter.
