2016 (So.): Played in 59 games, mostly as a late-inning defensive replacement, including 10 of CCU’s 14 NCAA postseason games … Only had 30 at bats but scored 13 times and hit two home runs with seven walks, three hit by pitches and eight stolen bases ... Had an RBI single off the bench versus Appalachian State in the season opener … Scored the game-winning run as a pinch runner versus Virginia in game two of the season ... Versus Marshall, had two plate appearances but no official at bats ... Hit a sac fly in first at bat to give CCU an 8-3 lead in the sixth ... In the eighth, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored to provide the 9-3 final score … In his first start of the season (at CofC on Mar. 2), hit his first collegiate home run … In his third start of the season —at UNC Wilmington (Mar. 16) — hit a two-run home run in the win ... Scored twice, walked twice and stole a base versus the Seahawks … Was 1-for-1 with a run scored in the Stetson finale … Had two put outs in the College World Series championship game.

 2015 (Fr.): Was the preseason Big South Newcomer of the Year by both Baseball America and D1Baseball ... The opening-day starter in right field but was injured in game two forcing him to miss games three and four ... Returned to the lineup in game five then was lost for the season as he was hit by a pitch on the left hand in game six … Got the first hit by a Chanticleer in Springs Brooks Stadium, a bunt single in the Old Dominion opening-day win ... Was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and RBI in a loss to Western Kentucky in game two of the season … Was 0-for-3 with a walk and run scored in the win over Georgia Tech ... In the next game (versus Albany) — his only plate appearance —was hit by a pitch, effectively ending his season … Did make one appearance as a pinch runner on April 14 versus College of Charleston.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Part of a program that won five straight region championships, won the Georgia AAAAAA 2013 state championship and was runner-up in 2014 … Listed as a “sixth round pick” in the 2014 MLB Draft Countdown preview … Listed on Jeff Sullivan’s Top 150 High School Prospects List … On ThroughTheFenceBaseball.com, listed him as having the seventh-best arm nationally among high school outfielders … On the NineBaseball.com 2014 preseason All-Georgia second team … PerfectGame.org 2014 first team All-Southeast Region … PerfectGame.org 2013 preseason Underclassmen All-American … Batted .389 as a senior with 18 RBI, 18 runs scored and a .478 on-base percentage … A two-time Region 5 AAAAAA.
