The Coastal Carolina University baseball team completed a three-game sweep of Winthrop May 10.

On the CCU career lists, ranks third in ERA (2.29) -- second in the Division I era, sixth in saves (14) and third in appearances (107) ... The CCU record for appearances in 117 by Byron Binda from 2002-05 ... Played a key role in Cotuit winning the 2012 Cape Cod Western Division and having the best record in the league (30-14) ... Was 8-0 on the mound for Cotuit, leading the Cape in wins (two more than the next closest) and he tied for fourth in the Cape in saves (4) ... Combined for four shutouts, serving as the primary set-up man for closer Austin Fleet ... Appeared in 15 Big South games, going 1-0 with a 1.89 ERA, striking out 18 in 19 innings with just three walks ... Picked up his first career win, going 1.2 innings versus Wake Forest ... Entered the Wake Forest game with CCU trailing 4-1 and did not allow a base runner, striking out one ...
