Enters final season with a 2.12 career ERA, which stands as a CCU Division I record and ranks second all-time.

Earned Dean’s List recognition in for Spring 2015  … Named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll in both 2014-15  and 2015-16 for posting at least a 3.0 GPA for each the academic years.

2016 (Jr.): Racked up a host of honors as he led the NCAA in wins, going 15-1, and playing a key role in Coastal Carolina winning College Worlds Series as Beckwith was named Most Outstanding Player for the CWS15wins led the NCAA, set a CCU single-season record and tied the Big South mark.

Posted a 1.85 ERA in 26 games (10 starts) and, in addition to his 15 wins, had two saves ... A relief pitcher for most of his career, Beckwith moved to the starting rotation for the final 28 games … Made three starts at the College World Series and earned three wins with a pair of complete games ... Posted an 0.76 ERA at the CWS and was the 12th player to ever notch three wins during the season's final stage in Omaha ... Opened the CWS by leading Coastal to a win over top seed Florida as he recorded his first career complete game ... In the win, only threw 98 pitches (71 strikes) and did not walk a batter ... Retired the last 10 batters he faced, scattered seven hits and struck out seven to tie his career high ... Also, his 98 pitches were the fewest by any CWS pitcher to throw nine innings or more since 1981 … Also pitched a complete game, throwing 138 pitches, in the first elimination game versus TCU in the bracket final … Scattered six hits and one run with one walk and five strikeouts in the 4-1 win … Started the final game of the championship series versus Arizona and earned the win … Pitched 5.2 innings , throwing 93 pitches, and allowed six hits, two unearned runs and three walks with two strikeouts … Overall in the NCAA postseason, was 5-0 in five starts (six appearances) with a 1.96 ERA … His 15 wins were the most in NCAA Division I since 2010  … In addition to leading the NCAA in wins (15), led the Big South and ranked 16th in the NCAA with his 1.85 ERA … Named Big South Pitcher of the Week (April 4) as he picked up two wins in relief in the Gardner-Webb series … Starting with that GWU series (April 1), was near perfect over his final 17 appearances, posting a 14-0 record with a save, 1.49 ERA, .246 opponent batting average, 90.2 innings pitched, 53 strikeouts, 13 walks … From March 10-Aprl 30, had a streak of not allowing an earned run snap at 38.0 innings (spanning 11 games) in the 9th inning at Georgia Tech ... Pitched five scoreless at Tech before allowing two runs in the 9th … Got the win versus #4 Virginia as he pitched 4.1 scoreless innings in relief, scattering five hits with three strikeouts … Had a then season-high six strikeouts (2.2 innings) versus Cincinnati … Got his first start of the season in the Friday UNC Greensboro game and suffered his lone loss as he allowed 12 hits and four runs … Earned his first save of the season at UNC Wilmington (Mar. 16) ... Entered with runner on second with two outs and CCU clinging to a one-run lead ... Got an inning-ending ground ball and would retire all 10 batters he faced with two strikeouts, including one to end the game … Entered The Citadel game with runners on the corners, one out and CCU clinging to a one-run lead (4-3) ... Threw out the runner at third on a safety squeeze attempt for out two and struck out the next batter to end the threat ... Worked a 1-2-3 eighth with a strikeout before turning the game over to Mike Morrison … Was the Big South Pitcher of the Week as he picked up wins in games 1 and 3 of the Gardner-Webb series ... Pitched 2.1 scoreless in game one ... Entered in the 5th with CCU trailing 4-3, bases loaded and two out … Got a ground out back to him to end inning ... CCU then scored six in the bottom of the 5th and never looked back ... Retired seven of the nine batters faced ... In game three of the series, pitched 3.0 scoreless ... Entered in the fifth with CCU winning to a 5-1, bases loaded and no outs ... Got a strikeout before allowing an inherited runner to score on a single to make the score 5-2 in CCU’s favor ... With bases still loaded, induced an inning-ending double play to limit the damage … In a five-day span, got two wins and pitched 13.0 innings — final 6.0 versus College of Charleston (4/20) and first 7.0 versus High Point (4/25) ... Got the win versus CofC despite getting little help from the defense ... Allowed six hits and three runs, but none were earned as CCU committed 4 errors behind him ... Five days later, got a surprise start and pitched seven scoreless while tying a career-high with seven strikeouts ... Only allowed four hits and walked none in CCU’s first shutout of the season … Returned to starting rotation in the Liberty series and improved to 8-1 ... Pitched 6.0 innings, scattered eight hits for three runs (two earned) with one walk and tying a career-high with seven strikeouts … At the Big South Championship, grinded out a win over Gardner-Webb in the second round ... Pitched 7.2 innings and scattered eight hits, allowing two runs and two walks … At the NCAA Regional, was 2-0 in two appearances (1 start/1 relief) ... In the opener versus St. Mary’s, got the win as the starter and went 6.2 innings ... Scattered six hits with a walk and three strikeouts ...  Credited with the win in the deciding game versus North Carolina State ... Pitched 2.0 innings and allowed three hits, one run and one walk ... Pitched 7th and 8th inning before the game was suspended in the top of the ninth, but got win as CCU scored four runs in the top of the 9th when the game resumed and held on for the 7-5 win … At the Baton Rouge Super Regional, started game one but did not figure in the decision and had shortest outing as a starter (4.1 innings) ... Allowed seven hits and four runs .. In Big South conference games, was tops with a 7-0 record and 0.76 ERA ... Big South hitters managed just a .231 batting average off him with no home runs and five walks.

2015 (So.): Was 6-4 with two saves and 3.26 ERA … Made 27 appearances – 25 in relief and his last two (at the Big South Tournament and NCAA Regional) as a starter … Ranked sixth in the Big South (125th in the NCAA) with 27 appearances ... After being a relief pitcher in his first 54 career appearances, drew the start in his last two outings of the season … First,  in a win versus High Point in Big South semifinal, pitched a then career-high 8.0 innings, allowing seven hits and two runs with two walks and three strikeouts … Second, in a win versus Texas Southern in the NCAA College Station Regional, , pitched a career-high 8.1 innings, allowing seven hits and one run with one walk and five strikeouts … The day prior to his start against High Point in the Big South Tournament, pitched 2.1 innings in relief, but threw just 19 pitches, in CCU’s win over Winthrop in game two of the Big South Championship ... Retired all seven batters faced, recording two strikeouts … Overall in the postseason, had three appearances  and was 2-0 with 1.45 ERA and opponents batted just .215 in 18.2 innings with three walks and 10 K’s … Earned the win versus #7 South Carolina as he retired 10 of the 12 batters he faced, walking one and hitting one, with a strikeout .. Despite a career effort with seven strikeouts in 4.0 innings, was saddled with the loss in the Radford series opener as his base runner scored on a wild pitch from another pitcher ... Overall, allowed four hits and two runs with one walk … Also was a tough-luck loser in the Campbell opener … Tossed a then career-high 6.1 innings (84 pitches) and scattered 10 hits … Earned first save by pitching 3.1 scoreless innings versus Toledo …. Pitched 1.0 scoreless inning, allowing a hit and two walks, but got the win versus West Virginia … Improved to 3-1 with a win at High Point (Apr. 13) as he pitched 3.1 innings and allowed two unearned runs … At Presbyterian, got win #4 on the season in the series opener and earned his second save in the game two of the series … In the two outings, pitched 4.1 innings and allowed one run.

2014 (Fr.): Set a CCU Division I era record with his 1.33 ERA … Was 3-2 with two saves in a team-best 29 appearances ... Opponents only batted .238 off the righty … In a nine-appearance span (15.0 innings from Charleston Southern-Presbyterian) went 2-0 with a save and did not allow a run while walking just one ... Over his last eight outings of the season (16.2 innings), allowed just two earned runs with no walks … Earned his first collegiate save versus Rhode Island by pitching three scoreless innings and allowing just one hit with a strikeout ... Suffered a loss versus Minnesota, allowing one run from one walk in 1.1 innings, but bounced back to earn his first collegiate win by pitching 4.1 scoreless innings versus UMBC, allowing two hits and now walks while fanning two ... Pitched 3.1 impressive innings at #2 South Carolina, allowing two hits and one run with two strikeouts ... Picked up save #2 in the UNC Asheville opener, pitching 1.2  scoreless innings with two hits, no walks and two strikeouts ... Earned two wins in the Presbyterian series ... In the opener, after Tyler Herb pitched nine innings, Beckwith pitched the final 4.0, allowing three hits with no runs, no walks and four strikeouts ... In the PC finale, pitched 2.1 scoreless, allowing one hit and one walk with a strikeout … Pitched five scoreless innings, allowing no walks and fanning two, versus Winthrop in the Big South Tournament.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Two-time first team All-State … Rawlings Atlantic regional honorable mention All-American … Led Blythewood to a 27-7 record and the 2013 AAAA state championship, falling in the best of three series to Lexington … Was 7-1 entering the state championship series, but suffered a pair of losses in the series to finish 7-3 I 79.2 innings pitched … Also played second base when not pitching … Batted .351 (29-for-111) … Set a school record with nine career saves … Part of staff that had streaks of 22 and 25 scoreless innings in 2013 … Tabbed Region 4 Player of the Year, going 9-1 with three saves and a 1.13 ERA as a junior … Struck out 62 in 62 innings … Was 2-2 with a school-record six saves in 2011, helping Blythewood to Region 4 and District 4 Championships … Also swam competitively in high school and was a member of the Ultimate Frisbee State Championship team …. Member of the National Beta Club and National Honor Society.
