The Coastal Carolina senior made his second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships on Friday.
The senior jumper is scheduled to compete at 7 p.m. ET on Friday.
Reggie Nelson will advance to the NCAA Championship in Eugene, Ore., from June 10-13.

Set a personal best mark of 6.90m (22-7.75) in the long jump while finishing 7th at the Big South Championships... 2012 Track & Field: Won the high jump at the Winthrop Twilight with a season-best height of 6'8.75"... Notched a time of 24.67 in the 200 meters, his lone meet in the event... Named to 2011-12 Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
2010-2011: Attended Coastal Carolina, but did not participate in track and field.
High School: Competed at Dillon High School... Received Distinguished Athlete Award and was named All-State, as well as AA All-Region during senior year... Finished as Lower State Runner-Up in the high jump and long jump during senior season, while winning the AA Region Championship in the high jump, long jump and triple jump... Dillon High School won the AA State Championship during senior year... Jumped a season best 6'4" in the high jump, 21'10.5" in the long jump and 42'9" in the triple jump during senior season.
