Coastal Carolina University Track & Field Honors Its Seniors Prior to the Chanticleer Classic
2013 Outdoor: Competed in both the long jump and triple jump at five meets ... Posted fourth-place finishes and season-bests in both events at the Chanticleer Classic (17-11.5 long and 36-8.5 triple) ... Finished 10th in the triple jump at the Big South Championships.
2013 Indoor: Placed ninth in the triple jump at the George Mason Patriot Games with a season-best mark of 35-2.0 ... Posted mark of 16-7.75 in only long jump event of the season.
2012 Outdoor: Competed in the long jump at four meets ... Had a season-best leap of 18'2.50" in finishing eighth at the Big South Championships ... Placed fourth at the Chanticleer Classic and 16th at the Duke Invitational ... Named to 2011-12 Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
2012 Indoor: Competed in the long jump at three meets ... Placed 13th at the Big South Championships with a season-best jump of 16'6.50".
2011 Outdoor: Set a personal best in the long jump at the Coastal Carolina Invitational with a mark of 17'5.50".
2011 Indoor: Participated in the long jump at the Virginia Tech Invitational taking 24th place with a mark of 16'0.25" (4.88 m) and at the Big South Indoor Championship placing ninth with a jump of 17'3.25" (5.26 m).
Prior to Coastal Carolina: Woodson was a standout performer at Spartanburg High School as she was a regular in the South Carolina State Championship meet.... During her freshman and sophomore year she helped the Vikings to state championships during the outdoor season...Woodson placed in the state meet five times through her high school career... She was all-region and all-county in long jump as well as placing sixth in the state meet as a senior... Woodson was tabbed all-state as a sophomore and junior in the 4x400 relay.
