CONWAY - The 2011-2012 Coastal Carolina cheerleading program ended its season at the Student-Athlete Excellence Awards Banquet on April 22nd.
The Chanticleers began their season in August with the All-Girl and Co-Ed cheerleading teams and mascot attending the National Cheerleading Association college camp.
The teams cheered for the Coastal football team and the men's and women's basketball teams.
Co-ed members Brennan Tyler, Taylor Sellers, Ahmadd Frink and Kylie Jenkins competed at the CANAM partner stunt nationals. Ahmadd and Kylie won the competition. The All-Girl team placed 7th at NCA college nationals and the team also competed in STUNT. The cheerleaders were also very active on campus and in the community.
