"SEE SOMETHING...SAY SOMETHING"

In an effort to enhance the safety of our students, faculty, staff and fans at Coastal Carolina University sporting events, we are asking all spectators for heightened awareness of their surroundings on gameday. If you see something out of the ordinary while on campus or in the stadium, please notify a member of the CCU Deppartment of Public Saftey, event staff personnel or athletic department gameday staff immediately. You can also contact CCU Department of Public Safety by calling or sending a text message to 843-349-TIPS (843-349-8477).

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the event of inclement weather in the proximity of Springs Brooks Stadium, public address announcements will be made to update fans on the situation. Should a lightning strike occur within eight miles of the stadium, play will be stopped. Play will resume thirty minutes after the last strike occurs within the eight-mile radius. During weather delays, fans are encouraged to exit the stadium and seek shelter in their vehicles. Once the ALL CLEAR is determined by the lightning detection system and lightning parameters are met, fans can return to the stadium and the game will be resumed following a brief team warm-up.
