AraLeigh Beam is finishing her fifth year at Coastal Carolina University and second year as the Assistant Compliance Director.

Beam has been at Coastal Carolina since March 2005, spending three-and-a-half years in the Office of the Registrar, including working with the Athletic Department for three years on deteremining NCAA athletic eligibility for Coastal Carolina's student-athletes. She also handled all aspects of student enrollment, grade production and distribution and graduation verification among her duties in her tenure in the Registrar's Office.

Beam earned her Master of Business Administration with honors from Webster University in 2008, finishing with a 4.0 grade-point average. Prior to that, Beam graduated from Coastal Carolina with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2004, majoring in marketing and management. A 2001 graduate of Hartsville High School, Beam was a two-year letterwinner on the track and field squad.

Beam and her husband Jeremiah live in Conway.
