Coastal SAAC To Adopt Family During Holidays

CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina Student-Athlete Advisory Committee had adopted a local family for Christmas and will hold a donation drive Saturday afternoon during the men's basketball game with Charleston Southern at 2 p.m. from Kimbel Arena. 

The adopted family fell victim to a devastating house fire and lost all of its clothes and has no means to provide their children with a Christmas.  Material items (non-perishable food, clothes) and monetary donations will be accepted at the main entrance of Kimbel Arena. 

A high priority has been placed on clothing and food donations as the winter months have already arrived.  Clothing sizes needed for girls are 3T, size 5, 8 and 9 slim, while size 5 is needed in boys. 

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee would like to thank the community for their support in this effort.
