The annual Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (CAF) Gala - Feel the Teal - will be Friday, August 20, beginning at 6:30 pm at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort at Grande Dunes. All proceeds from the event benefit the Coastal Carolina University student-athletes' scholarship fund.
The event is open to the public with an individual ticket costing $100 or a corporate table for 10 is available for $1,000. Also, a "celebrity table" can be purchased for $1,500, which accommodates eight people and Coastal Carolina dignitaries. Cocktail attire is the appropriate dress for the evening.
In addition, valet parking will be available and the event will be located in the Atlantic Ballroom. For those making the trip from out-of-town, a special rate of $139 is available for this function at the Marriott.
The "Feel the Teal" Gala begins at 6:30 pm with cocktails, followed by dinner and auction. Some items on the auction block this year includes a CCU golf cart, an autographed Tyler Thigpen jersey, nine-foot ocean kayak, TaylorMade R9 Supertri driver and assorted sports memorabilia to name a few.
