Faith and Family Day

Join us for a day of Faith and Football at Coastal Carolina University October 12, 2013.

The event will start out with a celebration of faith at The HTC Center. Former NCAA Football Champion Maurice Clarett will be on hand to discuss his past troubles and how faith got him through and made him a better man.

After the faith celebration, enjoy watching the CCU Football team take on Big South Conference foe Gardner-Webb at 6 PM. The faith day event will begin at 4 PM at The HTC Center, located at 104 Founders Drive. Registration for the event includes entry, a ticket to the football game, and a meal voucher. Tickets are $15 or $20, and those prices are based on where you'd like to sit for the football game at Brooks Stadium. Seating options are highlighted in the chart below. Youth under 18 are just $10. Entry for 2013 Coastal Carolina Football season ticket holders is FREE.

Parking is free and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Patrons may park at The HTC Center, but it is a small lot. Other parking is available near highway 501, and there is a shuttle that will take patrons from the lot to The HTC Center. Shuttles will also take patrons from the event to Brooks Stadium for the football game. Parking lots open 5 hours prior to game kickoff, or 1 PM for this event.

Maurice Clarett was a highly touted recruit who enrolled at The Ohio State University, and was part of their 2002 National Championship team. After that, Maurice found himself in some trouble and was suspended by the NCAA. He spent a brief amount of time in the NFL before finding himself in legal trouble. He then served a 3 year prison sentence. Since then, Maurice has used faith to get him past his mistakes and is working to help young men who may find themselves heading down the wrong path. He would like everyone to see him as a positive influence, if not for the mistakes he made but for how he's worked to correct them. We are looking forward to having him here to share his message of redemption.
