Coastal Carolina Track and Field facility is among the finest on the East Coast and is the home of the Coastal Carolina Invitational and Chanticleer Classic each spring.  Additionally, the facility hosts the Relay for Life along with numerous other University and community events throughout the year.  Prior to the 2004-05 academic year, the track was resurfaced with a polyurethane-based system that offers outstanding all-weather durability and performance.

Track: 400m oval with eight 42" lanes, polyurethane surface
Inside Steeplechase water pit
Two LJ / TJ polyurethane runways - each 200' long, with four landing pits
130' Javelin polyurethane approach runway, with dedicated landing area on infield of track
80' x 100' High Jump polyurethane approach area, with 22 x 11 landing pit
180' Pole Vault polyurethane runway with plant box at both ends
Two Shot Put circles with dedicated landing areas on infield of track
AAE Hammer/Discus Cage is dedicated to throws landing field only, adjacent to track
