The Coastal Carolina University Athletics Compliance Office is charged with coordinating, monitoring, and verifying compliance with all NCAA, Big South Conference, and institutional rules and regulations, while serving to educate the various internal and external constituencies of the University about these rules and regulations. The Athletics Compliance Office is committed and compelled to the principle of institutional control in the operation of the athletics department in a manner that is consistent with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Big South Conference and the University. The vision of the Coastal Carolina University Athletics Compliance Office is to be recognized as one of the most comprehensive and proactive compliance programs in the areas of institutional control, education, and rules violation prevention. The Athletics Compliance Office shall be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of excellence and professionalism by working together with all internal and external University constituencies in a manner that promotes respect, communication and teamwork by incorporating in others the highest regard for ethical conduct and by fostering an environment that is supportive of the NCAA operating principles of competitive equity and institutional control.
